Building Engagement, Well-being and One-Team Spirit at SOCAR Türkiye

We are a pioneering energy company working with the most advanced technologies to provide social, economic, and environmental benefits to a sustainable life. As Türkiye's largest integrated industry group, we continue our activities in many sectors, primarily petrochemicals, refining, natural gas, trade, transmission, and distribution.

SOCAR Türkiye's internal communication activities and employee engagement events are being held to increase motivation, support the well-being and happiness of our colleagues, contribute to their socialization, and ultimately strengthen our employer brand image. To further enhance this strategy, we launched the Internal Communication Ambassadors Program, which plays a key role in promoting engagement initiatives in 2025. Acting as a bridge between employees and the internal communication team, ambassadors actively share feedback, encourage participation, and help ensure that every colleague feels included in our activities and events. Our goal was to reach every employee without exception. Through the "Voice of the Employee" project, we communicated with colleagues who had never participated in our events, collected their suggestions, and gained insights into their unmet needs and reasons for non-participation.

With the active involvement of our ambassadors and within the scope of the Voice of the Employee program, we co-designed numerous actions and engagement initiatives together with our colleagues, ensuring a participatory and inclusive approach.

Within the scope of our "Live Well, Feel Well" concept, designed to support the physical and mental well-being of our colleagues, we organized outdoor walks, online fitness classes, facial yoga sessions, and breathing workshops focused on effective breathing techniques.

We also organized events that brought together employees and senior management, such as themed Happy Hour gatherings, breakfast events, and Biz Bize Talks, each designed around different themes to create enjoyable experiences beyond daily work routines.

The SOCAR Olympics allow employees to both compete and strengthen team spirit through tournaments organized across eight different sports branches, including football, basketball, and bowling.

In addition to sports activities, we organized cultural and social events that employees could enjoy with their relatives, including museum and exhibition visits, guided excursions, and culinary workshops. Colleagues spent quality time with their families at the SOCAR Türkiye Family Picnic.

During the semester break, employees came together with their children at children's festivals. We also hosted a Year-End event to celebrate achievements and relieve the fatigue of the year, along with special day celebrations such as the Nevruz Festival.

The successes of colleagues who make a difference in their work and add value to our company have been recognized and celebrated through ExCom Awards and CEO Awards.

As part of the Galatasaray Sports Club sponsorship, employees were invited to matches both in Türkiye and abroad, providing them with unforgettable experiences.

As a tangible outcome of these efforts, the internal customer satisfaction survey conducted at the end of 2025 increased to 4.8 out of 5. In 2025 alone, SOCAR Türkiye was honored with eight international awards. Moreover, a decrease in employee turnover was observed, and to date, every employee has participated in at least one employer branding event, ensuring full engagement across the organization.
