1. Vision
As a publicly listed insurance company with strong public ownership that carries the name of our country, we believe in sustaining the strength we draw from Türkiye through long-term investment in the future. With this vision, we designed the "Insurance of Your Future - Intern Development School" to support qualified employment and equip young talents with a strong start in the insurance sector. By positioning our company as a learning ecosystem, we contribute to the development of a highly skilled workforce and create lasting value for our country.
2. Program Structure and Implementation
Our program was launched with the selection of two leading public universities-Yildiz Technical University and Istanbul University-as pilot partners, both of which are recognized in global rankings. Candidates from these universities underwent a multi-stage selection process before being accepted into the program. Our trainees then began their journey with a comprehensive orientation day, where they met with our managers. The program then commenced, consisting of two days of internship and one day of training per week. Over 16 weeks, our trainees received more than 100 hours of training in total. The internship program was structured around three core stages:
-
A. Comprehensive Education Module
Trainees were educated with a special curriculum allocated one day per week. This included:
- Insurance training (Introduction to Insurance, Insurance Law, Products, Claims Management, Private Pension System, Sales & Marketing, and Financial Investment Instruments).
- Professional skills training (Excel, Power BI, Presentation Preparation with AI, Tips for Digitalization in Business Life).
During the insurance training, exams were held after each session, and the results were shared with the managers.
-
B. Design Thinking and Development Projects Module
The training in this module was designed for trainees to develop projects in groups targeting our company's areas for improvement. After a two-day "Design Thinking" training, the trainees, divided into groups, identified internal development areas and finalized their projects through an idea development workshop and prototyping training.
-
C. Online Training Pool
Trainees benefited from a broad-ranging online training pool covering technical and personal development topics such as Advanced Excel and Results-Oriented Focus.

3. Conclusion and Sustainability
This program has evolved into a sustainable corporate social responsibility model that goes beyond the traditional internship experience. By bringing education, employment, and innovation together in a single structure, we support young talents in building job-ready competencies while also accelerating our company's digital transformation through their fresh perspectives. With its measurable outcomes and scalable design, this model can inspire other institutions seeking to invest in the workforce of the future.
