Enable two-way engagement and feedback to build trust, accountability, and transparency. Here's what we did:

  • Launched a Global Mobility Programme for work experience across our different markets and on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Initiated a full employee onboarding programme from first application onward.
  • Revised 22 existing Group policies and introduced 10 new policies to address modern workplace needs including our Ways of Working policy allowing employees to work from home or abroad, miscarriage leave, and breastfeeding in the workplace.
  • Revamped Performance Management Process to include 360feedback, bi-annual interim feedback, and mid-year review.
  • Springboarded our Coaching & Mentoring programme, training volunteers to become ICF-accredited coaches to assist with peer-to-peer learning.
  • Introduced Ooredoo Learning Academy, a learning platform including formal learning, on-the-job training and peer-to-peer learning.
  • Launched our Leadership Development Program (LDP) in partnership with Harvard for our future leaders.
  • Promoted employee well-being with mental health awareness training, wellness benefits, Wellness Days, Family Day and various health initiatives.
  • Launched Total Rewards integrating competitive pay structures, performance-linked incentives, market-leading benefits, robust mobility programmes, and staff perks.
  • Launched annual employee experience and pulse surveys to measure culture and employee experience and to continuously improve all areas requiring attention.
  • Completed our Talent Density programme aggregating talent across our markets to build succession strategies, and identify future experts.
  • Introduced our EVP to enable and empower our employees' growth from the grassroots up.
  • Peer-to-peer appreciated with Random Acts of Kindness campaign, thank you cards, and the Steps Challenge.
  • Corporate news shared with Knowledge Bytes, monthly casual lunch with management, department newsletters.
  • Promoted diversity with our Women's Summit, Take your daughter to work day, and the recently launched Women@Ooredoo network.
  • In our 2024 employee survey, our Sustainable Engagement Score rose to 89 from 75 in 2021.
  • Our Culture & Values score climbed to 89, also above both benchmarks, while Empowerment & Trust increased to 83, reinforcing the strength of our EVP. A 94 score for "I fully support the values for which my Company stands" shows strong alignment with our cultural changes.
  • A key strength-"we help each other, even if it's outside our core job"-reflects a culture of support and shared success. Our eNPS improving from 24 in 2023 to 39 in 2024 highlights growing cultural health.
