- Organization Description:
Le Chene is a purpose-led boutique consultancy and recruitment agency delivering cross-sector transformation, commercial strategy, workforce design and talent solutions. We unite people, strategy and systems to create measurable impact. Guided by inclusion, we expand access to skilled work for individuals often overlooked, building capability, not dependency.
Since July 1, 2023, Le Chene has not implemented an inclusion initiative, we have redesigned the architecture of work itself.
In consulting and transformation environments traditionally defined by office presence, travel intensity, and rigid access models, we built something structurally different: a capability-first, location-agnostic operating system that removes physical, geographic and socio-economic barriers to participation.
In the past 18 months alone, Le Chene has delivered 250+ transformation projects, trained more than 5,000 professionals globally, and placed over 7,000 individuals into meaningful employment across 10+ industries and four regions. These are performance numbers but they are also inclusion outcomes.
More than 70% of our core consulting, research and advisory team operate remotely across multiple countries. A significant proportion are women, primary caregivers, individuals returning to work after career disruption, or professionals with disabilities who would otherwise be excluded from traditional consulting environments.
One of our consultants became the sole breadwinner after a life-altering accident left him physically disabled. Conventional corporate roles were no longer accessible. We redesigned his position around output and expertise rather than presence, equipped him with remote collaboration infrastructure, and embedded him into major transformation programs. Today, he supports his children and his parents restoring income security, dignity, and long-term family stability.
Another team member continued delivering high-impact research and advisory work while caring for her daughter through cancer treatment. She did not have to choose between motherhood and professional identity. Her performance outcomes rank in the top quartile of our distributed team. Several of our employees are now the first in their families to fund university education for their children. Inclusion at Le Chene does not stop at employment, it generates intergenerational mobility.
Our innovation is operational, not symbolic:
- Roles engineered through capability mapping rather than location requirements
- Performance measured by impact and delivery outcomes, not hours visible
- Flexible part time work structures
- Embedded digital collaboration architecture enabling cross-border transformation delivery
- Recruitment aligned directly to transformation projects, creating purposeful, skills-based employment
Retention across our distributed workforce exceeds 90%, outperforming industry norms in consultancy environments. Client satisfaction remains consistently strong because our model enhances rather than dilutes performance.
We did not lower the bar to become inclusive.
We redesigned the system so more people could meet it.
Le Chene proves that elite consulting performance and deep human accessibility are not competing priorities, they are mutually reinforcing.
Transformation is always a people story first.
We simply built a business that reflects that truth.
